Nicole Thibodeau grew up in
Taos, New Mexico. The unique
community and breathtaking
scenery provided the foundation
for her dedication to artistic
expression. She received a BA in
Studio Art from Bethany College,
in Lindsborg, Kansas, and an
MFA in Painting from Fort Hays
State University in Kansas. In
addition, she has studied at
Lacoste School of the Arts in
France and Studio Art Centers
International in Florence, Italy.
She has an eclectic approach to
creating art and enjoys exploring
many different paths, at times
simultaneously. She currently
resides in Hays, Kansas.

These watercolors were created on a trip to Germany in the spring of 2008.
I stayed in Essen, studied German language, and traveled to many towns in the area.
